How to supply your artwork

Files under 20MB

Email your files to artwork@marlerhaley.co.uk with your company name or order number (e.g. MH#12345) in the subject.

We accept links to cloud storage too.

Files over 20MB

Use a file transfer service (e.g. WeTransfer or your cloud drive) and share the link to artwork@marlerhaley.co.uk. Include your order number.

Current lead time (19/09/25): 5 working days from artwork approval. Ask about express options if you have a deadline.

Checks

We preflight your files and flag any issues (size, bleed, resolution, colour) with you before printing.

Print & dispatch

Your graphics are produced and shipped.

Artwork templates

Find downloadable templates on each product page under the Artwork tab. These are PDF formats.

Use the template for the exact product and size you’ve ordered.
Keep key content inside the safe area; extend backgrounds to bleed - Instructions are shown on the template.

File format

High‑resolution PDF format
No embedded/linked files missing

Colour

CMYK colour mode - Not RGB

Resolution & scale

300 dpi at 25% scale or 72 dpi at 100%
Raster effects/images set accordingly
Avoid low‑res logos/images

Bleed & safe area

Use the bleed values shown on the template
Keep text and logos within the safe area
Extend backgrounds to full bleed

Fonts & links

Outline fonts or include font files
Embed/pack linked images
Remove unused swatches and hidden layers

Proofing

We provide a PDF proof on request or where we have detected an issue.
Physical colour proof available on request (chargeable)

What file formats do you accept?

You'll need to use the templates provided on our product page which are PDF formats. Non‑print‑ready files may incur a basic set‑up fee.

Where do I find templates for my product?

On each product page under Artwork tab. If you can’t find what you need, contact us and we’ll send it.

Do you check my files before printing?

Yes — our team preflights your files. If there’s an issue with bleed, sizing, resolution or colour mode, we’ll let you know before printing.

Can you help with design?

Absolutely. We offer an in‑house artwork service which can help with your design or fully design your artwork. This is charged service and price varies depending on product and scope. Contact our team to enquire.
